MESPA III – Food Service Trainer Manager
Location:
Kurzman Administration Building – Crary Campus
Minimum Qualifications: - Skilled in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Meal Magic Software
- 5 years of elementary and secondary kitchen management and training experience required
- Knowledge of the NSLP
- Exceptional organizational skills
- ServSafe Certified
- Able to lift 40 pounds
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
- Skilled in food inventory and ordering with detailed accuracy
Performance Responsibilities: - Assist with professional standards.
- Update and maintain the Meal Magic Nutrition Software.
- Assist with staff training.
- Assist with food/milk orders and commodity management.
- Monitoring sites for compliance.
- Communications between office and kitchens.
- Assist in the production and distribution of marketing material.
- Fill in for staff upon demand.
- Ability to locate, read and apply child nutrition label requirements for menu planning and compliance.
- Daily bank reconciles and checking building deposit/transaction for errors.
- Update recipe book, red binder and training manual as needed.
- Assist in the development of Ala carte and smart snacks to maintain compliance.
- Responsible for servings per case document and production sheets.
- All other duties as assigned.

Director, Nutrition and Purchasing Services
Workday/Week:
Monday – Friday, approximately 8 hours per day
