Technology Department Summer Intern:  Two (2) positions available

Description: This unique service arrangement represents a collaborative effort between the OAISD and the participating district(s) to maximize technical resources and expertise to benefit local school districts. Individual in this position will assist with summer projects including setup and installation of computer hardware and associated equipment.
 
Qualifications: Ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma and have some experience in technology support. Must have excellent communication/customer service skills.  Experience in setup of Chromebooks and iPads.  A valid drivers license and ability to travel to and from various worksites is required. Individual should be self-motivated and able to work with a team of people, one-on-one and independently.
 
Reports to:  Chief Technology Officer

Job Type: Third-Party Employment (EduStaff)
 
Schedule: Full Time, Spring/Summer 2025
 
Compensation:  $14.50  - $16.00 per hour
 
Benefits: Due to the temporary nature of this position benefits are not available.

Primary location for this position will be at Oakridge Public Schools and West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field with at least three years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a leadership role preferred. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Experience troubleshooting with both PCs and Macs preferred. Ability to travel to local districts/schools required.  
 
Description: This unique service arrangement represents a collaborative effort between the OAISD and the participating district(s) to maximize technical resources and expertise to benefit local school districts.  Individual in this position will act as a liaison between the school district(s) of primary assignment and the broader Technology Services Department by providing technical support to end users and may be responsible for oversight of programs or projects.  Additional responsibilities include coordinating and managing the daily activities of the distribution, installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and related equipment.

Compensation: Grade Level 15.      $58,400 - $73,000.  Starting pay will be determined based on qualifications, education, certifications, and experience.  Well-qualified candidates will start above the minimum.
