Summer Per-Diem Teacher Aide

The Superintendent invites qualified and interested persons to apply for the position of Summer Per-Diem Teacher Aide
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Successful completion of (60) semester hour credits from an accredited college or university OR
2. Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associates Degree OR
3. Must be available to work the entire length of the program, including in-service and orientation days.
PROGRAM TITLE: K READY KINDERGARTEN BOOTCAMP
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The K Ready Kindergarten BootCamp is a full-day academic and Enrichment Program for students transitioning to kindergarten in Fall 2025. Students will receive intentional instruction focused on the following domains: Language Arts, Literacy, Math, Science, Approaches to Learning, Social Emotional and Health development. Further, students will explore a variety of topics through teacher-designed enrichment projects in a learn through play environment. Positions are for both morning academic classes and afternoon enrichment programs.

PROGRAM TITLE: EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (Elementary)
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Extended School Year program focuses on ensuring students maintain skills that are at risk of regression or recoupment. This program provides instruction based on the student's IEP goals and while it may address academics, instruction may also focus on self-help, social skills, emotional support, physical mobility, communication, and vocational skills. ESY has integrated and self-contained classes for grades PK-8. The ESY program is designed to support exceptional learners with an IEP. ESY must be designated in the student's IEP.

PROGRAM TITLE: EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (High School)
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Extended School Year program focuses on ensuring students maintain skills that are at risk of regression or recoupment. This program provides instruction based on the student's IEP goals and while it may address academics, instruction may also focus on self-help, social skills, emotional support, physical mobility, communication, and vocational skills. The ESY program is designed to support exceptional learners with an IEP. ESY must be designated in the student's IEP.

The outcome- based curriculum emphasizes life skills, communications, socialization, functional academics and transitional skills. It focuses on ensuring students maintain skills that are a risk of regression.

PROGRAM TITLE: EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR AT NEW JERSEY REGIONAL DAY
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year offers a comprehensive program of instruction for students with autism and developmental delays. It focuses on ensuring students maintain skills that are a risk of regression.

PROGRAM TITLE: SUMMER ACHIEVE
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Summer Achieve accelerates academic learning in mathematics and ELA instuction from 8:30am-1pm for students currently in grades K-7. Summer Achieve has been developed by NBOE’s curriculum experts to improve critical math and literacy skills and ensure that participants are well prepared to start school in September.

PROGRAM TITLE: SUMMER QUEST
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Summer Quest provides recreation and enrichment activities from 1-6 pm for students currently in grades K-7. Summer Quest actiivities are taught by NBOE teachers with the support of community partners. Activites include sports, coding and technology, visual and performing arts, book club, and games, etc.

PROGRAM TITLE: SUMMER SPORTS CAMP
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: These summer experiences provide students with training, skill development, and tournament opportunities in various sports.

PROGRAM TITLE: HIGH SCHOOL ENRICHMENT
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: HS Enrichment provides non-credit bearing recreation, enrichment, and academic support for current high school students. Activities can include core-subject lessons to prevent learning loss, mindfulness activities to bolster social-emotional learning, sports like teqball, and off-site learning experiences.

PROGRAM TITLE: HIGH SCHOOL ACCELERATION
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: HS Acceleration is an intensive 120-hour program designed to provide high school or dual enrollment credit in select subject areas. Students who participate in accelerated courses must meet all attendance and academic expectations to earn high school credit upon completion of the course.

PROGRAM TITLE: SUMMER BRIDGE
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The HS Summer Bridge program provides current 8th grade students with an immersive educational experience that will expose them to the school’s community and culture, provide them an opportunity to meet faculty and staff, and offer insight into the expectations and demands of high school.
Program Duration: 6/25 and 6/26, 8/18 - 8/22

1. Salary: Before 7/1/25 - $16.58/Hour After 7/1/25 - $17.37/Hour
2. Employment Period: 6/24 and 6/25, 6/30-8/01, OR 8/18-8/22
