POSITION	Cafeteria Food Service Worker @ North Branford High School
WORK SCHEDULE	4 hours per day   8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday to Friday 181 School Days/Year
SALARY	As specified in the Agreement between the North Branford    Board of Education and the Local 1303-382 of AFSCME Council 4
RESPONSIBILITIES	Coordinates all preparation and serving of food according to menus and in correct portion sizes as mandated by USDA. Assist with daily cleaning duties, including sweeping of floors, cleaning of equipment, work areas, and dish room. Perform temperature checks during meal period to ensure food is being served hot.   Follow sanitation requirements according to state, federal or local health departments.  Prepare and update production records and temperature logs.  May operate a cash register POS system, count money.
QUALIFICATIONS	High School diploma or GED Previous experience with quantity food preparation and service  Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
