Transportation Director Position Purpose Under the general supervision of the Superintendent. Responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students across the Noble District.
Essential Functions - Oversees the fiscal operations of the transportation department using standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures in accordance with Board policies, rules and regulations, and applicable laws.
- Maintain discipline among students during transportation.
- Supervising and coordinating employees in the department along with employees' records.
- Complete reporting for the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
- Plan transportation routes for buses using routing software
- Assist in establishing guidelines and procedures related to the school district.
- Able to fill in as driver when needed.
- Drug and Alcohol test administrator.
Additional Duties Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.

Travel Requirements Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Qualifications Profile - CDL-Bus Driver License
- Driver Trainer certification or ability to obtain
Education High School Diploma or GED
Experience - Successful experience managing or directing the facilities operations of an organization, preferably in an educational institution.
- Successful Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience using routing software
- Successful Driving/Monitoring experience
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay: On Administative scale starting at $33,150 a year
