Applicants must have a valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners in order to coach for our District.  

Process of Volunteer Coach Approval: 
1. NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics will review applicants and set up interviews for available positions
2. Criminal History Background check will take place 

Upon background check approval - Volunteer Coaches must also provide a copy of the following documents to Human Resources:
1. Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate
2. Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Certificate
3. Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate
4. Transcripts from Coaching Classes
5. Driver License
