    The above full-time position is available for the 2025-26 school year, effective September 1, 2025.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • New Jersey Music Certificate, required

    • Prior experience working with elementary students (preschool through grade 5), preferred

    • Prior experience working with diverse student populations, preferred

    • Hold an understanding and familiarity with the 2020 N.J. Student Learning Standards for Visual and Performing Arts 

    • Knowledge of best teaching practices for elementary general music education

    • Ability to plan and orchestrate choral concerts

    • Interest in creating a positive culture, with the school and district community through the creation of music
