
POSITION: Multilingual Teacher 0.4 FTE
LOCATION: Lonsdale Elementary, Lonsdale, MN
Tri-City United Schools serves the communities of Le Center, Lonsdale, & Montgomery
STARTING DATE: 2025-2026 school year, first day of new teacher workshop is August 19, 2025
SALARY RANGE: $17,400-$29,250 based on qualifications and years of experience
Per the Tri-City United ISD 2905 Master Teacher Agreement
BENEFITS: Insurance, retirement and paid time off
REPORTS TO: Building Principal, Director of Special Services

LICENSURE: MN licensure in English as a Second Language; Elementary Education and other licensure areas may be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS:
- Experience teaching multilingual students preferred, but not required.
- Actively participate in all professional development activities and professional collaboration time (PLC / CLT)
- Prepare and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and staff to promote student engagement
- Utilize best practice (evidence-based) strategies that support language development and implementation of services with students
- Assess students’ language proficiency and monitor progress
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive learning environment; Understand and promote school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program within our schools
