Milford Adult Education is seeking a dedicated Adult Education Family Literacy Program Coordinator to join our team. Programming will run February 3- June 4, 2025, for 32 total sessions at two locations, with programming running 5:30-8:30pm. Programming will run at one location on Monday evenings, with the second location running on Wednesday evening. Coordinator is expected to be on site each night the program is in session from 5:30-8:30pm. Additionally, the coordinator is expected to attend planning meetings prior to the start of programming, held both virtually and in-person.
This is a Part-Time, Non-Union, Grant-Funded position.
Stipend is $3,360

Summary/ Goal of Position:
This position is primarily responsible for providing oversight of the Milford Adult Education Family Literacy Program
Essential Tasks of the Position (Illustrative, not inclusive)
Coordinate and manage childcare staff;
Coordinate meals for program participants;
Act as first point of contact for program staff;
Share communications between staff members of the program with the Adult Education Director and Program Facilitator;
Manage attendance records for participants;
Perform other tasks and responsibilities associated with Family Literacy Program and grant funding, as delegated by the Adult Education Director
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to relate successfully with staff, families and students from diverse backgrounds, experiences and skill levels;
CASAS test administration certification, or ability to obtain certification prior to first day of programming;
Training and Experience:
LACES data management training
CASAS test administration training (in-person, virtual, and remote required)
Prior job experience working with adult learners, particularly in family literacy programming preferred
