School Social Worker needed at The Academy for the 2025-2026 school year.  This position will be available August 25, 2025. 
 
Current CT certification as School Social Worker (071) required.
 
Salary and benefits per contract.

The Academy is the alternative high school program for Milford Public Schools.  Our program serves a socially and academically diverse population of students from the district’s comprehensive high schools, Jonathan Law and Joseph A. Foran.  We support general and special education students as well as students with 504 accommodation plans.  Students who attend our program must apply and be accepted. Our program provides an environment for students who have not met success in the comprehensive setting and are in need of a smaller environment with a stronger focus on social emotional learning and developing relationships while maintaining high levels of academic expectation. Candidates for this position must possess strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of  meeting the academic and social needs of at-risk learners in creative ways.
