    POSITION: Teacher, 5th Grade (Two positions available )
    LOCATION: Clayton Partnership
    PAY RANGE: Licensed Salary Schedule, $60,004 - $124,634 Annual Salary
    CALENDAR: 190 Days
    REPORTS TO: School Director/Principal

    Clayton Partnership School is a K-8 University Partnership School where student learning is supported by best instruction, state-of-the-art teaching practices, and one-on-one attention. In each Clayton classroom, a master teacher is joined by university teacher cadets to develop both quality teachers and high-achieving students.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Colorado teaching license with an appropriate Elementary endorsement required.
    • Additional endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education preferred, *or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework. *
     
     
    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Incorporating the 10 common principles from the Coalition of Essential Schools into all aspects of the school day.
    • Implementing effective strategies for supporting positive student behavior.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective classroom management.
    • Participate in data-teams with teammates to interpret data and plan next steps.

    • Committing to using a variety of instructional deliveries including, but not limited to, cooperative learning, authentic assessments, and inquiry-based instruction.
    • Demonstrating an understanding of and commitment to a standards-based system of planning and delivering instruction and assessment.
    • Aligning intervention processes with standards and assessments established by the District and State.
    • Assisting in the development and implementation of exhibitions of student learning.
    • Delivering district and school initiatives with fidelity.
