SUMMARY: Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) position: 0.5 FTE as teacher in building and 0.5 FTE as Assistant to the Athletic Director. 205 Calendar. Additional Extra Duty Stipend for Evening, Weekend, and Break duties. Allowed to Head Coach One Sport. Qulaified candidate under consideration.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises assigned contests and programs. Will abide by and enforce all school, athletic department, District 38, CHSAA bylaws, rules, regulations, expectations, and standards.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Valid teaching certificate. Valid Administrator license, enrolled or willing to enroll in an administrative licensure program. Successful Head Coaching Experience is a must. Is able to articulate knowledge of CHSAA bylaws. Must be willing to build a positive team culture where success is a byproduct through the development of the attributes of good citizenship.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 17 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 18, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,000-$71,866. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website.
