  •   Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO is looking for a full-time Journeyman Plumber in the Maintenance Department. The Journeyman Plumber, under general supervision, must be willing and able to perform the duties associated with repairing commercial water heaters, domestic water pumps, piping systems, victaulic fittings and plumbing fixtures district-wide. Although this position holds specialization and expertise in the area of plumbing systems and operation, must be willing and able to provide assistance in all areas of building maintenance as part of the Building Maintenance team. High school diploma or equivalent is required.  A minimum of 4 years of progressive Journeyman experience in commercial and/or industrial plumbing. Must possess a Colorado Journeyman Licence and hold a back flow certification or be able to obtain a certification within six months of being hired. Must be able to perform basic computer work, be mechanically minded with strong troubleshooting skills. Must be willing and able to be on-call in a rotation with other team members and have some flexibility to work late or on weekends as emergencies occur. This position is full-time, year-round and eligible for the full benefits package. The pay for this position is not negotiable, but is between $25.19 to $27.28 per hour, based on previous experience.  In order to be considered, please completed the online application as soon as possible.  The position is opened till filled.

    All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
