Position Description: With the support and guidance of a Licensed School Social Worker provide direct social work services, complete social-emotional evaluations, provide individual, small group, and classroom-based SEL lessons, and collect, analyze, and monitor student data. Support students in de-escalation, risk assessment, and crisis response.
 
Position Qualifications:
 
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education

• Enrolled in a Master of School Social Work program

• Ability to use own transportation to travel to sites throughout the MVSE Cooperative

Mid-Valley serves children and families in the Batavia, Kaneland, Geneva, Central, and St. Charles community school districts in Kane County.
