POSITION: School Psychologist (1.0 FTE funded by special education)

SALARY: Dependent on years of experience, certification, and Highly Qualified status

CERTIFICATION: School Psychologist Certificate

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in evaluating student needs, including a thorough understanding of Special Education Rules and Section 504
• Ability to work with special education students for planning early childhood through secondary transition
• Ability to communicate effectively, plan cooperatively and travel between assigned locations
• Knowledge in curriculum based measures, DIBELs, AIMSweb, RtI, MTSS, and MiBLSi, preferred
• Experience in supporting teachers with using data to implement & evaluate interventions and instruction

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide initial and continuing evaluations plus act as an educational consultant as directed by the administration
• Participate in the Teacher Assistance Team at assigned buildings
• Work collaboratively with itinerant staff and Director of Student Support Services to identify student needs and refine RtI Process at all grade levels
• Other duties as assigned by administration
