Description
Responsibilities include planning and delivering effective instruction, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to promote student success. Ideal candidates are committed to inspiring lifelong learning and meeting the diverse needs of all students.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Eligible to hold a GaPSC issued teaching certificate
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Elementary Education or related field
• Hold a GaPSC issued teaching certificate in Elementary Education
• Experience teaching upper grades in an elementary school
Working Conditions
• Work is performed in a standard in-person classroom setting 
• Regularly involves standing, speaking, and interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
• May require occasional lifting of materials or equipment
• Requires the ability to use classroom technology, including projectors, computers, and learning management systems
• Regular work hours are during the school day, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for parent-teacher conferences, school events, or professional development
• Must be adaptable to varying student needs and class sizes
• May include additional duties such as sponsoring extracurricular activities or supervising student clubs

Employment Terms:
• 190 Work Calendar
• Annual Salary based on degree level and previous years of experience in a similar role

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate teacher to serve students with adaptive educational needs in a small group setting. You will provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and collaborate with families and staff to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and eligible for GaPSC provisional certification in Special Education
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Valid GaPSC teaching certification in Adaptive Curriculum
• Special education teaching experience particuarly in a elementary school setting
• Knowledge of IEP writing and compliance
• Experience incorporating technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance  learning
Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in a standard in-person classroom setting within a high school environment
• Regularly involves movement, speaking, and interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
• May require occasional lifting of materials or equipment
• May require occasional student restraint, training in restraint techniques will be provided
• Requires the ability to use classroom technology, including projectors, computers, and learning management systems
• Regular work hours are during the school day, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for parent-teacher conferences, school events, or professional development
• Must be adaptable to varying student needs and class sizes
• May include additional duties such as sponsoring extracurricular activities or supervising student clubs
