Qualifications:
Proper licensure for teaching high school English in Illinois.
 
Candidates with dual credit certification in speech/communication preferred.
Interested in attaining this dual credit endorsement?  The District will assist you in finding an applicable program, and tuition assistance is available per the HEA contract!

Working Conditions:
As governed by the negotiated agreement

See page 162 of HEA contract for salary schedule.  Board paid TRS, and credit given for full years of service in P-12 public education

Appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with World Language Spanish and Bilingual Spanish Endorsement
 
 
 
Salary/Benefits
 
RANGE OF PAY*: Regionally exceptional pay, based on HEA 25-26 salary schedule (pg 162) and experience MA+30 $67,284 with 0 zero years of experience PHD $107,804 20 years of experience -WOW! 
*Unlike districts in the region, all years of private and public school experience may be considered for placement on the salary schedule. 

BENEFITS: $50,000 board paid life insurance, low monthly premiums, low out-of-pocket maximums, and low annual deductibles!
 
WORK HOURS: 10 months / Full-time
