Holmdel Public Schools is searching for an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our talented team! Candidates must possess a NJ English as a Second Language Teaching Certification.
 

Required Cert:      Teacher of ESL Certificate; 
 
Desired Cert:            Certificate of English K-12
 
Tenure track 10-month position.  
 
 
 
Candidate Must:
 
• Meet the needs of diverse learners with varying levels of language proficiency

• Be knowledgeable of NJSLS, WIDA, and TESOL standards

• Be knowledgeable in best practices in English as a Second Language and Sheltered English Instruction

• Possess proven interpersonal communication skills

• Be familiar with ACCESS testing

• Show experience in carrying out language and reading assessments
