  STUDENT WORKER-CUSTODIAN

LOCATION: District Schools

EFFECTIVE DATE: 2024-2025 School Year

HOURS: Up to 4 hours per day, 3 days per week / not to exceed 12 hours per week

SALARY: $16 Per Hour

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a current senior of Hightstown High School

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to read, write and understand work related directions/instructions with sufficient skill to perform all required tasks and write basic reports as required.
• Demonstrates strength and manual dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks including ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Cleans classrooms, corridors, furniture, windows, walls (including graffiti), fixtures, lockers, blinds, chalk boards, etc. according to written schedule.
• Moves furniture, equipment, supplies, books as required.
• Empties trash/recycling receptacles of various capacities, transports large receptacles to outdoor dumpsters.
• Cleans and disinfects all restrooms, water fountains, sinks, urinals, basins according to written schedule.
