Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable soccer coach to lead and develop players at all three of our middle schools. As a soccer coach, you will be responsible for conducting training sessions, implementing game strategies, and fostering a positive team culture. The ideal candidate should be passionate about developing athletes both on and off the field, creating a fun and competitive atmosphere, and driving continuous improvement.
 
Staff Responsibilities:
 
• Lead and conduct regular training sessions for teams, focusing on skill development, fitness, and tactical understanding.
• Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies that align with the team's goals.
• Provide feedback and constructive coaching to players to help them improve their individual skills.
• Foster team morale and unity through communication, motivation, and team-building activities.
• Monitor players' progress and ensure that they are developing their soccer skills in a safe and supportive environment.
• Assist with the coordination of team schedules, practices, and games.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to provide updates on player development and team performance.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all players, following league guidelines and safety protocols.
 

Schedule:
 
• Practice and Tryouts:
  • Practices are Monday - Thursday from 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
  • 8th grade boys' soccer tryouts will take place on April 29, 2025.
  • Practice will take place on days when games are not scheduled.
• Games:
  • There will be four games.
  • The 7^th grade game will start at 4:00 p.m., followed by the 8^th grade game.
  • All games will be played at Memorial Park.
  • Game schedule:
    • 5/7:   VMMS vs. NHM 
    • 5/12: VMMS vs. KMS 
    • 5/14: KMS vs NHM 
    • 5/19: VMMS vs NHM
    • 5/22: NHM vs. KMS
    • 5/28: VMMS vs. KMS
