    Join an exemplary team shaping young minds in a beautiful Catholic School-by-the-Sea! We are looking for a motivated educational professional to join our Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies faculty. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering exciting lessons aligned with the curriculum.   

    Candidates should have a strong Religion, Language Arts, and Social Studies background, demonstrate empathy, have good written and verbal communication skills, and ultimately have excellent classroom management abilities and engage students with the subject matter.  

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     
    • Plan daily lessons
    • Develop Religion, Language Arts, and Social Studies learning activities and material for classes according to the established curriculum
    • Lead students in developing appropriate skills associated with reading, writing, argumentation, document-based questions, written analyses, and historical concepts. 
    • Employ a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and performance assessments to guide the learning process. 
     

    Requirements:

     
    • Bachelor's degree, minor, or strong interest in one of the above areas
    • Teacher certification
    • Practicing Catholic
    • Strong, empathetic classroom management 
     

    Job Type: Full time 

     

    Pay: Per diocesan salary guide - starting at $32,135 per year
