Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming school year. This position offers flexibility, with options for full-time or part-time employment. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students in mathematics, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in alignment with our school's mission and Catholic values.?
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Implementation: Plan, develop, and deliver engaging math lessons that align with the school's curriculum standards and the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.?
Instructional Excellence: Utilize effective teaching strategies to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.?
Assessment: Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.?
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student development and participate in school events and initiatives.?
Faith Integration: Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and interactions, fostering a strong moral foundation in students.?
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional growth opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in mathematics education.?
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.?
Certification: Valid New Jersey teaching certification appropriate for mathematics instruction or eligibility to obtain certification.?
Experience: Prior experience teaching mathematics at the elementary or middle school level is preferred.?
Faith Commitment: Willingness to uphold and model Catholic values and teachings.?
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.?
