REPORTS TO: Director of Student Services and Building Principals
SALARY: Base: $22,288, then based on experience and education
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Administer formal and informal assessments and present findings at eligibility meetings
Observe students across the educational setting and provide recommendations regarding supports and accommodations for students
Serve as a member of students’ IEP team by attending and participating in domain meetings, IEP meetings (when needed), and eligibility meetings
Serve on the district’s MTSS team
Participate in professional development and provide professional development, as needed
Attend problem-solving meetings and offer expertise
Review eligibility criteria in eligibility meetings
Participate in 504 meetings, as appropriate
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Excellent data interpretation skills
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
Knowledge of the MTSS process
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
