    POSITION OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT
     
    Math Instructor (Anticipated)
     
    General Description:  The instructor will provide mathematics instructional activities which are consistent with the objectives of the academic program in particular, the MVCTC in general and the approved academic content standards of Ohio.  The instructor will direct the learning experiences of the students, including skill development, human relations, and leadership qualities which are necessary to obtain gainful employment.  The instructor will perform in such a manner to ensure the best education possible for the students of MVCTC.
     
    Qualifications:
    1.         Must hold or qualify for a valid high school mathematics license
    2.         Must possess interest in young people
    3.         Possess good knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment of instructional specialty to which assigned
    4.         Ability to plan and implement lessons based on program and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned
    5.         Must have the ability to integrate instructional technology
    6.         Ability to move about in classroom/lab to check student work and monitor behavior
    7.         Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, and parents
    8.         Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    9.         Possess excellent human relations skills and serve as a role model for students
     
    Length of Contract:              185 days
     
    Starting Date:                        2025-26 school year
     
    Salary:                                    Per teacher salary schedule
