Qualifications:

-I-CAR Pro Level 1 Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification
-ASE Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification
-Minimum of 3 years work experience in the auto body repair and refinishing.  Have considerable work experience in all aspects of the auto body/collision repair field.
-Must meet all qualifications for the appropriate license though the Illinois State Board of Education.  Valid Professional Educator License that is current and registered in DuPage County with endorsement in Auto-body/Collision and Repair Technology/Technician. (Candidates with valid ISBE teaching licenses must also have at least two years of directly related work experience).

Requirements for the Career and Technical Education License:

Registered nurse with a minimum of two years nursing experience with one year of experience as a registered nurse in one or both of the following areas:

Time: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Reports to: Dean of Students
 
Responsibilities: 
• Supervise school building and campus via cameras and/or assigned stations
• Monitor and patrol all building and campus areas to ensure a safe environment
• Check in visitors utilizing the Raptor Ware Software
• Sign out visitors and students with early dismissal
• Monitor halls and entrances for unauthorized visitors
• Monitor bus lanes/parking lots, etc., as directed
• Monitor bus arrivals and departures, including assisting with coordinating buses and contacting buses when students miss the bus
• Escort students to and from classes as needed
• Check and secure all windows and doors in the building on a daily basis
• Ensure that students leave the campus safely
• Provide assistance in emergency situations as needed
• Report any security concerns to Administration in a timely fashion
• Direct emergency vehicles to site of emergency on campus
• Complete incident reports in a timely fashion
• Check student ID’s daily
• Answer phone calls and transfer to the appropriate person
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students

• Ability to think and act deliberately in emergency situations
• Ability to problem-solve assertively while maintaining safety and order in emergency and non-emergency situations
