    TRAINING AND SAFETY OFFICER
    Lockport Township High School is seeking Training and Safety Office for our Transportation Department. This key position will oversee the safe and efficient operation of school bus services, ensuring compliance with all school transportation regulations, as well as leading the training, development, and evaluation of drivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school bus operations, training, and safety, with a passion for ensuring a safe environment for students.

    Qualified candidates must be:
     
    • A holder of a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) issued by the State of Illinois.  
    • Experienced in running student transportation routing software and routing programs.
    • Experienced in training and evaluating drivers.
    • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic and diverse environment.
    • An effective communicator who positively interacts with staff members, parents, students, and the public.
               
    Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Tier III
    Salary: $30.50 - 32.50 Hourly
