High School Assistant Football Coach

JOB GOAL:  To instruct all students in the fundamental skills and knowledge of the sport or activity.  To provide an atmosphere for successful individual development through monitoring, evaluating, and reinforcing. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ability to develop drill and practice activities that teach and enhance individual/team skill development that makes up the game/activity.
2. Develop and maintain an inventory list of equipment.
3. Prepares and implements a schedule of checking out, maintaining, and checking in equipment.
4. Ability to plan and enforce appropriate safety and health rules and regulations.
5. Ability to develop a supervision plan that ensures the safety and welfare of students at all times:  locker room, trips, practices, etc.
6. Maintains confidentiality about students and others.
7. Presents a professional appearance.
8. Ability to be an effective communicator with all audiences – players, parents, supervisors, peers and spectators.
9. Ability to receive, understand and follow directions.
10. Be able to model/demonstrate activities and equipment used to develop basic skills or physical condition.
11. Ability to observe, diagnose, and prescribe appropriate remediation activities during practice and game conditions for players and team.
12. Must know and be able to apply the developmental stages of each point of the game to the needs and ability levels of the team/players.
13. Assimilate innovations and adapt to changes where applicable.
14. Support the philosophies of Converse County School District #2 activities.
15. Promotes positive public relations with the community and within the school district by using positive verbal and non-verbal communication and interaction skills at all times.
16. May be responsible for supervising students on out-of-town activities.  This may involve staing overnight.

QUALIFICATIONS:        
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND MENTAL ABILITY:
Have a fundamental knowledge of the club or activity.
Ability to select from a variety of instruction methods to teach activity objectives.
Possess sound emotional judgment.
Possess a full understanding and carrying out of "maintenance of confidentiality" as it relates to students and staff they are to work with on a daily basis.
 
EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming
Possess current First Aid and CPR certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
ALL SPORTS:
Ability to sit on a bus for hour after hour.
Ability to carry and/or provide aid for an injured player.
 
BASKETBALL:
Ability to coach at a high intensity level during practices and games.

TRACK / CROSS COUNTRY:

WRESTLING:

VOLLEYBALL:

Ability to visually analyze various physical and mental volleyball skills
Ability to run drills for periods of up to 1-2 hours without fatiguing.
 
FOOTBALL:
Ability to remove an injured player from the field.
Ability to run drills for periods of up to 1-2 hours without fatiguing.
Ability to hear and be heard outdoors for up to 50 yards.
 
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials based on task and procedures required.

Purpose Statement
The job of Cook is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service activities at assigned location with specific responsibilities for prepping, cooking, and delivering food items that meet mandated nutritional requirements and/or requests of students and/or school personnel; verifying quantities and specifications of orders; and maintaining facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.

This job reports to Food Service Director

Essential Functions
• Arranges food and beverage items for the purpose of serving them to students and staff in an efficient manner.
• Attends meetings (e.g. department, in-service, etc.) for the purpose of gathering information required to perform job functions.
• Cleans facilities (e.g. utensils, equipment, storage areas, food prep areas, serving areas, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining required sanitary conditions.
• Communicates with stakeholders (e.g. students, parents, staff, etc.) for the purpose of conveying or receiving information required to perform job functions.
• Cooks food, prepared and/or from scratch, for the purpose of meeting mandated nutritional and projected meal requirements.
• Enters information (e.g. student and food counts, milk orders, delivery and production logs, routes, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.
• Inspects deliveries (e.g. food, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of verifying quantity, quality and specifications of orders to meet preparation requirements and/or complying with mandated health standards.
• Loads food items, supplies, and/or equipment for the purpose of transporting to assigned location.
• Maintains facilities in a sanitary condition (e.g. equipment, storage areas, food prep and serving areas, etc.) for the purpose of complying with current health standards.
• Prepares items (e.g. food, labels, delivery carts, supplies, equipment, etc.) for the purpose of serving student/staff menu items and meeting health and safety guidelines.
• Reports equipment malfunctions for the purpose of maintaining equipment in safe working order.
• Serves one or more items of food for the purpose of meeting mandated nutritional requirements and/or requests of students and school personnel.
• Stocks food, condiments and supplies for the purpose of maintaining adequate quantities and security of items.
• Transports food items, supplies and/or equipment for the purpose of delivering requested items to designated sites.
• Unloads food items, supplies and/or equipment for the purpose of providing requested items at designated sites.

JOB GOAL:  To replace the regular classroom teacher in his or her absence.  To provide as closely as possible the same successful instructional and learning environment that would exist if the regular classroom teacher were in attendance.
 
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follows the plans left by the regular teacher as closely as possible.
2. Follows the procedures, rules and routines of the regular classroom teacher as described in building policy and substitute instructions left by the regular teacher.
3. Maintains a detailed accurate and legible account of the material covered during the regular teacher’s absence.
4. Provides written explanation if plans of the regular teacher were not followed.
5. Maintains a written record for the regular classroom teacher of classroom management issues that need to be known by or followed up on by the regular classroom teacher.
6. Confers with the office secretary upon arrival to substitute for the purpose of learning of any additional duty responsibilities.
7. Confers with department head, grade level teacher, or principal if there is a question about plans or expectations of the substitute.
8. Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the level being taught.
9. Strives to maintain and improve professional competence as a substitute teacher.
10. Maintains accurate, complete, legible, and correct records of substituting experience as requested by district or building substituting policy or handbook.

Purpose Statement
The job of Bus Driver is done for the purpose/s of providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes, as well as, to and from special excursions; ensuring vehicle operation is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from buses.

This job reports to Transportation Director

Essential Functions
• Advises passengers appropriate behavior for the purpose of reinforcing established guidelines and maintaining passenger safety.
• Assesses a wide variety of transportation situations (e.g. road hazards, medical emergencies, accidents, etc.) for the purpose of resolving and recommending a resolution to the situation.
• Assists passengers for the purpose of providing safe loading and unloading from buses during normal transport and emergency situations.
• Attends a variety of meetings (e.g. unit meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc.) for the purpose of gathering information required to perform job functions.
• Cleans assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
• Conducts emergency evacuation drills for the purpose of ensuring efficiency of procedures and complying with mandated requirements.
• Drives school bus and other District vehicles as assigned for the purpose of transporting passengers over scheduled routes in a safe and timely manner.
• Fuels assigned vehicle (e.g. fuel, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining vehicle in a safe operating condition.
• Informs stakeholders (e.g. scheduled stops, established routes, route conditions, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and clarification of procedures.
• Monitors passengers during transit for the purpose of ensuring the safe transportation of all passengers.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections (e.g. fluid levels, tire pressure, exterior condition, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the safe operating condition of the vehicle and complying with mandated guidelines.
• Prepares reports (e.g. field trips reports, incident reports, inspections records, mileage logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, conveying information, and complying with established guidelines.
• Reports on a variety of actions and incidents (e.g. discipline, accidents, inappropriate social behavior, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information to appropriate personnel for their action.
• Responds to inquiries from a variety of stakeholders (e.g. unit meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc.) for the purpose of providing the necessary information regarding transportation services.
