CPS has immediate need for substitute personnel to work with students in grades Pre-k through 12. Earn $100/day in a collegial, clean and safe work environment assisting teachers and making a difference in the quality of life of students by: working with individuals and/or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material and/or skills; assist in the implementation of individual student goals, objectives, accommodations and modifications; facilitate the integration of students within the general education classroom and the school environment and other related duties.
In addition to a desire to work with children and/or young adults, qualified applicants need only to have:
two years of college credits (60) or,
Associates degree or,
Successful passing score of 457 on CT State Paraprofessional Assessment, or do so in the first 90 days of employment and,
Successful experience with children, preferably in a school setting

Successful applicants will receive basic substitute training in addition to peer and supervisory support.
