CMHA is looking to hire a Program Coordinator for our Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy program. This position will be located in New Britain.
Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator serves as the lead member of the Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) treatment team, which will provide treatment for youth/young adults and parents with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders both in home, in office, and community settings. Responsible for day-to-day oversight of all program functions in accordance with CMHA, external regulators and funders policies and procedures. Provides administrative and clinical supervision to staff to ensure that service delivery is of the highest quality, assures fidelity to the MDFT model, and is meeting client needs. Manages allocation of resources/staff within budgetary constraints. Represents and promotes CMHA at various community and professional forums.
Responsible for intake and case assignment and maintaining staff schedules; will provide emergency coverage for the therapists as needed; and do other tasks, as dictated by the MDFT model
Trains, supervises and evaluates staff in the utilization and fidelity of the MDFT model. Guides staff in the utilization of best practices to ensure clients achieve optimal results through staff meetings and supervision
Maintains appropriate caseload as determined by agency and funder. Coordinates staff schedules that meet the needs of families, is within budgetary guidelines and limits crisis situations
Provides crisis intervention to family in the home, office or community if need arises. This includes on-call 24/7 coverage of families on caseload
Requirements:
Master’s degree in a counseling-related field
Valid DMV License
Connecticut license as a LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Ph.D., or LADC as appropriate for services
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the delivery of adolescent and family clinical services
Minimum of two years of management experience
Beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Bilingual in English and Spanish
COMPENSATION RANGE- min $61,000 to max $80,000 a year
Starting salary will be determined based on relevant years of experience

CMHA is looking to hire a Recovery Specialist for our Adult Respite Program, Monday-Friday, 2nd shift 3:30PM-11:30PM. This position will be located in New Britain.
Position Summary:
The Recovery Specialist develops and monitors treatment plans with a case load of adult residential clients toward the goal of eventual independent living. Coordinates care with the client throughout the CMHA system of services. Supervises client activity and participation in the residential program while ensuring client safety, comfort and satisfaction.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid DMV License
2 years of experience in case management
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
Certification in CPR and First Aid
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in case management or related field
Experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
COMPENSATION RANGE- $18-$22 an hour
