Reports to: Campus Principal

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for managing the administrative functions of a middle school office, including answering
phone calls, greeting parents and visitors entering the school and being the primary point of contact in the
office.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
? High school diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:
? Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
? Knowledge of the efficient operation of a school office

Experience:
? Experience as a secretary in a public-school setting preferred, but not required
? Experience with the Public Education Management System (PEIMS), preferred, but not
required
