Requirements:

Responsibilities:
• Provide support to teachers within the department regarding instructional practices, assessments, grading, and lesson plans
• Check gradebooks and lesson plans weekly to ensure teachers have the support they need
• Conduct non-evaluative drop-ins during math teachers' classes to observe and provide feedback
• Attend monthly department head meetings
Compensation and Benefits:
• Stipend: $800/year

Join us in the important mission of forming disciples of Jesus Christ through a community of Catholic faith, knowledge, and service! Peoria Notre Dame is looking for a part-time tutor to work with our students during study hall and advisory, assisting students with their homework, aiding students in keeping track of their assignments and missing work, and providing one-on-one support and instruction for their classes. The position requires a background in education; preference will be given to those holding degrees and license in 9-12 education. The position reports to the Director of Student Support Services.
 
Requirements:
 
• Bachelor's degree in education + Illinois teaching license
• Willingness to share their love of Christ with others
• Ability to innovate and differentiate in the classroom, teach students to think critically, and appreciate and support diverse learners
• Ability to work three hours a day for five days a week
Responsibilities:
• Assisting students with assignments and assessments
• Ensuring students receive their accommodations
• Working with students who are missing work or who had extended absences to make up that work
• Providing one-on-one support for students who need assistance 
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary Range: $15-30/hour depending upon experience
• Additional benefits are not available for part-time employees
