Primary Purpose:
Work under moderate supervision to prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.
 Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Food Handlers Certification (obtained within two (2) months of hire)
 Special Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures
Ability to understand written and verbal food preparation and safety instructions
Ability to operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools
Ability to work well and in a positive manner with staff, students, and public
Ability to perform basic math
 Experience:
 None
 Major Responsibilities and Duties:
 
1. Prepare quality food according to a planned menu of tested and standardized recipes.
2. Serve food according to meal schedules, departmental policies and procedures; practice and promote portion control and proper use of leftovers.
3. Store and handle food items and supplies safely and according to established procedures.
4. Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
5. Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety standards, and follow established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health, and safety.
6. Keep garbage collection containers and areas neat and sanitary.
7. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.
8. Maintain personal appearance and hygiene.
9. Handle and record cashier functions accurately.
10. Assist with recording food requisitions and order necessary supplies.
11. Maintain daily food preparation records.
12. Follow all district and department policy and procedures. 
13. Promote teamwork and interaction with fellow staff members.
14. Maintain student confidentiality information.
15. Annually attend the Texas Department of Agriculture child nutrition summer workshops
16. Attend all required training as directed (minimum of 6 hours annually).

Motion: Continual walking; frequent climbing (ladder), grasping/squeezing, wrist flexion/extension, reaching/overhead reaching
Lifting: Frequent moderate lifting and carrying (15–50 pounds)
Environment: Work inside in commercial kitchen environment; exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, extreme humidity, noise, vibration, microwaves, biological hazards (bacteria, mold, fungi), chemical hazards (fumes, vapors, gases), electrical hazards; work with hands in water; work around machinery with moving parts; work on slippery surfaces

Primary Purpose:
Plan and provide therapy to students with mental, physical, or emotional disabilities. Provide therapeutic intervention to maximize physical or mental functioning, increase independent functioning, and/or adjust to disabilities.
 
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master’s degree in occupational therapy or related program
Valid Texas license as an occupational therapist granted by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
 
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of rehabilitation procedures, activities, and equipment used in occupational therapy
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
 
Experience:
Six months experience as an occupational therapist
 
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
 
1. Plan and provide direct and consultative services consistent with occupational therapy goals contained in students’ Individual Education Plans (IEP). Evaluate student progress and make recommendations regarding occupational therapy services.
2. Design, construct, alter, and provide students with adaptive equipment and devices to promote maximum independence.
3. Assess students with disabilities and determine eligibility for services.
4. Present staff development in assigned school as requested. Conduct one-on-one consultation with teachers, parents, and others to assist with selection and use of adaptive equipment and material that will enhance student learning.  
5. Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the maturity level, interests, and needs of the student.
6. Establish, control, and administer discipline according to the Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
7. Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to assist with the interpretation of assessment data, appropriate placement, and goal setting for students according to district procedures.
8. Develop and coordinate a continuing evaluation of the occupational therapy program and implement changes based on the findings.
9. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records and other documents required.
10. Comply with requirements of federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy. Comply with all district and campus requirements and regulations.
11. Maintain confidentiality of all student and special education information.
12. Maintain positive community relations by establishing positive rapport with students and parents. 
13. Attend all required training as directed.

Primary Purpose:
Operate school bus and related equipment to provide safe and orderly transportation of students and other authorized persons on assigned route and to and from other designated locations.
 Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S)
     endorsements
High school diploma or GED preferred
First Aid Certificate
TEA School Bus Certification
CPI Certification
 Special Knowledge/Skills:
Must be 21 years of age
Knowledge of federal and state traffic laws and regulations
Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam related to requirements of position
Ability to complete TEA required bus driver safety certification

Experience:
Prior school bus driving experience preferred. 
 Major Responsibilities and Duties:
 
1. Drive bus and other district vehicles safely, following all applicable laws, district policies, and administrative regulations governing the transportation of students. 
2. Follow assigned routes and adhere to established schedules.
3. Drive bus to and from extracurricular activities.
4. Anticipate problems such as traffic, weather, road conditions, and schedule changes and make necessary adjustments to ensure student safety and reduce delays.
5. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections according to specifications to ensure bus can be operated safely and notify mechanics of needed repairs. Keep assigned bus clean and maintain appropriate level of fuel.
6. Report all accidents, vehicle damage, student injuries, and mechanical problems and complete required corresponding reports.
7. Instruct students on safe entering and exiting of bus, as well as passenger rules and regulations. Supervise students during time of boarding and departure from bus, and while crossing the street.
8. Maintain discipline and use effective behavior management control over groups of students. Report student discipline problems to appropriate administrator and communicate student’s behavior when warranted.
9. Maintain positive community relations by establishing positive and appropriate rapport with students and parents. 
10. Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations for school buses.
11. Follow all federal, state, and district emergency procedures. 
12. Ensure proper condition of emergency equipment, such as first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and reflectors.
13. Maintains copy of route and emergency student rider forms on bus. 
14. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor. Report any hazardous conditions along scheduled route.
15. Maintain safety certification.
16. Operate and monitor two-way radio equipment to communicate with transportation office and other drivers.
17. Complete and maintain accurate, up-to-date, and timely records and reports including but not limited to those related to bus mileage and number of passengers transported.
18. Attend all required training as directed. 
19. Maintain consistent punctuality and regular attendance.
