Qualifications:
 
• Ability to engage students in learning.

• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

• Excellent classroom management skills and technology skills.

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, learning assessments and research related to learning.
 
Certification Requirements:
 
• Holds or is eligible for the Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6 New Jersey instructional certification as well as the Middle School with Subject matter specialization: Language Arts/Literacy Specialization in Grades 5-8 certification

• OR must hold or be able to obtain the Teacher of English certification

• OR must hold the Elementary School Teacher certification
