June 9th, 2025 (orientation day/meet and greets- 8 hours)
Classes starting June 10th-July 3rd, 2025 (3 hours per student contact day) 
Week of July 7th (pack up classrooms- 16 hours) 

Hours:
3 hours per day (8:45 am - 11:45 am) Monday - Thursday

Salary:
$23.40 per hour

Responsibilities:
 
• Paraprofessionals will support students and teachers to create a positive learning environment at Pond Early Learning Center for summer school 2025. Para's will help set up the classroom and engage with students during active learning times while supporting the teacher with other duties as signed.

This is an Early Learning Services summer teaching position. We are hiring for ECFE and Early Learning Services preschool teachers. Teachers will be responsible for planning and implementing standards based lessons, classroom management, parent communication, team collaboration and other duties as necessary.

Required Education: 
• High School Diploma
• 60 credits post-secondary education or a passing score on the Para Pro Exam

Required/Preferred Experience:
• Experience working in an educational setting with children aged 3-5 years
• Enjoys working with children and the ability to work with a teaching team
Responsibilities:
• Paraprofessionals will be responsible for assisting teachers with students, material preparation, classroom organization, ensuring student safety and other duties as assigned. 
• Paraprofessionals work with teachers in a positive and collaborative environment, and have a basic understanding of child development. 
• Paraprofessionals assist teacher in implementing lesson plans and collecting data to capture child's growth and progress throughout the school year.
