Position Purpose We are seeking an energetic, team player to become a member of our C
4 Support Team. This person will assist certified staff members and leaders with daily operational duties as needed to provide support for the processes involved in the delivery and knowledge of career education to students.
Essential Job Functions The C
4 Paraprofessional is responsible for the following:
- Develop positive working relationships with C4 staff members, partner school personnel, students, and community partners.
- Keep accurate student records for attendance, certification tests, progress reports, field trips, and other important documents.
- Monitor and maintain suitable testing environments to administer certification tests.
- Navigate a classroom of students through a substitute lesson plan on occasion.
- Assist with communication needs as a liaison between our partner schools and teachers.
- Assist with the preparation and set up for community events, such as career fairs, open houses, student and community tours, and awards programs. Strong organizational skills are a plus.
- Assist with C4 Student Ambassadors, related activities, and community outreach.
- Knowledge of career and technical education (CTE) or willingness to learn and assist with CTE related processes including: the INTERS reporting system, the Perkins grant, and the ADM count process.
- Assist teachers in ordering and maintaining classroom supplies, making copies, dual credit applications, relevant career and tech student organization (CTSO) event paperwork, maintaining certification paperwork, etc.
Additional Duties - Assist C4 administration, as needed.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and perform arithmetic operations as needed to assist students.
- Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Google applications).
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others.
- Ability to report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required.
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards Works in standard office and school building environments.
Ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.
Qualifications Profile Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Terms of Employment Less than 12 month
7 Hours per day

Starting Hourly Rate:
$17.31-19.58 based on experience
An additional $1 per hour will be paid from referendum funds
