SUPERVISOR OF BUILDINGS & GROUNDS
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
• Hold a current certification as a NJ Certified Educational Facilities Manager issued by Rutgers University or other accredited institute of higher education as per the requirements of 18A:17-50.
• Have a minimum of 5 years related experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Supervisory capacity, preferred
• Must hold a current Black Seal License
• Demonstrate fundamental knowledge in electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing systems, painting, structural systems, mechanical systems, HVAC systems and boiler operations
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of construction codes and methods, health and safety regulations, New Jersey Administrative Code titles 18A and 6, business management practices and principles.
• Demonstrate the ability to utilize computers for word processing, data management, building management systems and electronic communications.
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
• Assist in leading, organizing, managing & supervising all maintenance & custodial operations
• Provide and monitor a system of regular building, equipment, and grounds inspections to meet all federal, State, and local requirements.  Perform annual NJQSAC Indicator 9a inspections and provide written evaluation of findings.
• Develop and implement a multi-year Comprehensive Maintenance Plan that is both corrective and preventative for the upkeep of all school facilities.  
• Provide an efficient work order system for repairs of facilities & equipment that ensures that all maintenance & repairs are completed in a timely fashion, and provide regular work order status reports to the School Business Administrator and Principal(s)
• Serve as the Integrated Pest Management as well as Indoor Quality Control Coordinator for the District.
• Assist with the design and maintenance of the programming for computerized energy management system to insure operating efficiency.  Update programs as necessary.
Terms:
• 12-month position; Ability to work on site during the hours required (including some evenings, weekends and holidays)
• Salary, benefits, and leave time as specified by the Board of Education
• Reports to the School Business Administrator and Superintendent

Employment Terms:

SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL NURSES
 

Nature And Scope Of Job:
The Substitute School Nurse will serve as the primary advocate for the health and well-being of students and staff within the assigned school.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to health screening and services, emergency first aid, the care of those who are ill and/or injured while in the school, maintenance of health records.

Minimum Qualifications:
 
• Hold a current New Jersey RN License in order to qualify for the NJDOE Substitute Nurse Certificate 
• Hold a current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license with no serious violations
Terms:
• $47 per hour
• On call/as needed in the absence of full time school nurses
• Reports to the Building Principal and Supervisor of Special Services
