  Primary Purpose:
• Assist the campus Principal and the Director of Athletics in directing and managing the overall athletic program for the campus.
• Directly supervise all athletic staff, junior high feeder programs, and all athletic contest workers in conjunction with the Director of Athletics 
• Work to provide each student an opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all state, University Interscholastic League (U.I.L.) and local requirements
• Organize, plan, and supervise the sport program you directly coach as head coach
 Qualifications:
 
            Education/Certification:
            Bachelor’s degree
            Master’s degree, preferred
            Valid Texas teaching certificate at the secondary level
            Physical education endorsement (preferred)
            Texas Mid-management certificate (preferred)
           
           Special Knowledge/Skills:
            Knowledge of the overall operations of a campus athletic program
            Knowledge of the overall sport program as head coach
            Knowledge of state and U.I.L. policies governing athletics
            Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
            Ability to manage budget, personnel and coordinate campus functions
            Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
           
            Experience:
            3-5 years of successful teaching and head coaching experience at the 3A, 4A or 5A levels (preferred) 
            3-5 years of successful athletic administration (preferred)

Salary: AP PG8/12 Months 
             Starting: $100,463
