Primary Purpose:
Ensure efficient operation of the department office and answer general inquiries made by staff, parents and community members.
 
Qualifications:
           
            Education/Certification:
            High School Diploma or GED
             *Bilingual Preferred

          Special Knowledge/Skills:
            Effective communication and interpersonal skills
            Customer Service Oriented
            Solution-Focused
            Effective organizational skills 
            Knowledge of copier operations
            Accuracy in use of computer and creating/maintaing spreadsheets
            Accuracy in preparing reports and other tasks
 
            Experience:
            One year clerical experience in a public education environment preferred

            Working Conditions/Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
            Reading; ability to communicate effectively (verbal).
            Maintain emotional control under stress; adaptable in challenging situations; ability to thrive under pressure.
            Frequent standing; stooping; bending; kneeling;pushing and pulling; regular heavy lifting (45 lbs. or more).
            Biological exposure to bacterial and communicable diseases

Salary: Admin.Support PG3/225 days
            Starting: $27,810
