SUMMARY
Delivers and sets up food and catering orders in an efficient, timely and pleasant manner.
 
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Driver reports to the Director of Food Service and may receive direction from the Head Cook and/or building principal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Must have regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
2. Loads and unloads truck, picking, rotating and storing stock.
3. Load truck and safely deliver goods or other items to school district facilities maintaining the established delivery schedule.
4. Load truck, safely deliver and set up catering orders.
5. Maintain assigned vehicle(s) in orderly fashion, requesting mechanical attention as needed.
6. Maintains confidentiality.
7. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
8. Must successfully complete APS required training.
9. Must comply with all APS rules, policies and procedures.
10. Provide support to other positions as required.
11. Other duties as assigned.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2. One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training.
3. Experience working as a truck driver and/or in a shipping receiving position, preferred.
4. Clear driving record for safety purposes.
 
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver’s license.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
A good driving record is required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.

SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the education staff in the implementation and day-to-day operations of the early learning classrooms, including behavior support, teacher-child interactions, modeling behavior intervention strategies, and classroom environment structure.

The Behavior Support Coach reports to the Early Learning Manager or designee.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Must have regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
2. Develops and maintains positive, supportive relationships with education staff for the purpose of supporting staff growth through the mentoring process.
3. Develops and maintains schedules for observation for the purpose of determining training needs.
4. Works directly with children who exhibit persistent behaviors to gather data and develop strategies to reduce and/or eliminate challenges within the classroom.
5. Utilizes Pyramid Model components for the purpose of assessing needs, engaging in focused observations, and providing reflection and feedback in order to set goals and develop action plans.
6. Assists with the delivery of comprehensive behavioral management and support services for children and staff. This includes but is not limited to supporting the implementation of Tier 1 (Universal) classroom interventions and directly implementing Tier 2 (Targeted) and Tier 3 (Intensive) interventions.
7. Provides constructive feedback and support for the purpose of increasing education staff confidence and competence. This may include modeling, co-teaching, observing, providing reading materials or other resources as needed.
8. Provides follow up support to staff following any form of training for the purpose of increasing implementation of information and transfer of skill into practice.
9. Gathers and records information about staff’s implementation of practices described in goals/actions plans for the purpose of summarizing and displaying data.
10. Participates in Early Learning Support Team to analyze individual child data to help develop a child action plan for teaching staff to implement in the classroom.
11. Completes monthly monitoring reports for assigned visits and submits them according to timelines for the purpose of meeting program requirements for tracking and monitoring.
12. Participates in initial and on-going professional development for the purpose of providing effective expertise and practices that support child development.
13. Support School Readiness Goals and Program Goals.
14. Collaborates with Mental Health and Disabilities Coordinator to support early learning staff in providing interventions in the classroom to program children.
15. Coordinate required data collection and prepare reports to stakeholders.
16. Maintains positive relationships with staff, parents, program volunteers, and outside agencies.
17. Develops and maintains working relationships with peers to promote a positive work culture.
18. Participate in and provide support for the recruitment of eligible children and families to ensure continuous full enrollment.
19. Actively assist the program in reaching non-federal share/match (in kind) goals, in accordance with federal guidelines
20. Maintains confidentiality.
21. Follows all Program, Board, and Policy Council policies, procedures, state laws and regulations, Head Start Performance Standards, and Michigan Child Care Licensing rules.  
22. Provides support to other positions as required.
23. Performs other duties assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None. 
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field.
2. At least five years of relevant experience in early childhood education, including working with young children in a group setting.
3. Experience in social emotional curriculum and tiered intervention programming.
4. Two years’ experience working with at risk and diverse populations.
5. Experience using Creative Curriculum and/or Head Start experience.
6. Experience with adult learners is preferred.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

7. Administer, score and communicate results of the programs chosen developmental assessment as required by Performance Standards.
8. Utilize results of the developmental screening for individualization with in the classroom.
9. Complete all paperwork, document, communicate and execute the Student Assistance Team (SAT) process and disabilities referral process as requested by the LISD.
10. Utilize and document interventions as given in child behavioral plans, IEPs, or IFSPs.
11. Observe and document children's activities and interactions through anecdotal notes.
12. Complete, data enter, and communicate playground checklist and concerns
13. Implementation of the program's Safety & Injury Prevention System including Active Supervision.
14. Work and communicate effectively as part of a team environment.
15. Document any contributions to the classroom.
16. Complete Creative Curriculum Training.
17. Attend meetings and program functions, as assigned.
18. Maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, program volunteers, and outside agencies.
