POSITION SUMMARY 
This position is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to young students who are learning English as a second language, focusing on developing their foundation skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while adapting instruction to meet individual needs and cultural backgrounds, all within an elementary school setting. As an Elementary English Language Learner Teacher, one will develop and implement educational curricular, assess student progress, and provide hands-on training in a classroom setting. This position requires a deep understanding of English, excellent communications, skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

2. Enable students to gain insight and practical skills in the area of English as a new language.
3. Provide consultation to classroom teachers regarding inclusion needs of English Language Learners.
4. Use a variety of assessment procedures, samples, and instruments to evaluate student learning and provide specific and immediate feedback.
5. Enhance student application of basic writing, communication, and literacy skills that relate to the English has a second language.  
6. Teach the approved district curriculum to assigned students.
7. Ensure that all activities conform to district guidelines.
8. Employ instructional strategies that address a variety of learning styles and strengths.
9. Use a variety of assessment procedures, samples, and instruments to evaluate student learning and provide specific and immediate feedback.
10. Maximize available amount of time for instruction.
11. Establish and maintain a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students.
12. Maintain an organized and attractive physical classroom environment.
13. Set high expectations and standards for student achievement and behavior as appropriate to age and level of development.
14. Recognize and address needs of students on a regular basis, seeking assistance of district specialists as required.
15. Maintain appropriate classroom management and supervision for all assigned students.
16. Take all reasonable and necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
17. Meet and instruct assigned classes in the location(s) and time(s) designated.
18. Coordinate and supervise field trips as appropriate for assigned teaching area.
19. Assist with the activities of student organizations as assigned.
20. Attend staff meetings and serve on committees.
21. Strive to maintain and improve professional competence by participating in district-initiated staff development.
22. Communicate effectively and clearly with others.

POSITION SUMMARY 
This position is responsible for inspiring students by nurturing each individual’s voice, intellect, and character through the art of music. This position will be responsible for teaching students singing, playing instruments, and understanding music in an orchestral setting. As an Orchestra Teacher, one will develop and implement educational curricular, assess student progress, and provide hands-on training in a classroom setting. This position requires a deep understanding of music, excellent communications, skills, conducting, and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

POSITION SUMMARY 
The position of a physical therapist assistant is responsible for assisting a licensed physical therapist in providing physical therapy interventions to students with physical disabilities or injuries, by implementing treatment plans/ individualzed education program (IEP) goals, monitoring progress, teaching exercises, and coordinating with teachers and parents to ensure students can access their education with necessary accommodations, all under the supervision of a physical therapist.

4. Teach students how to use adaptive equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, or braces.
5. Monitor student progress during therapy sessions, documenting observations and reporting changes to the physical therapist.
6. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to discuss student needs, therapy goals, and classroom accommodations.
7. Educate teachers on how to incorporate therapeutic strategies into daily classroom activities
8. Communicate effectively with the physical therapist regarding student progress and any concerns.
9. Maintain accurate documentation of student therapy sessions, including progress notes, exercise logs, Medicaid billing, and treatment plans.
10. Prepare reports on student progress for the physical therapist and school administration.
11. Schedule therapy sessions and maintain patient records.
