    Hours: 8 Hours/Day

    Rate: 1.0 FTE

    The Assistant Superintendent of Instruction and Achievement is a key leadership role responsible for driving educational excellence within the district. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that the district's educational initiatives align with its strategic goals, providing leadership to instructional leaders, and enhancing academic outcomes across the district. This position entails:
    • Providing strategic oversight and setting a clear vision for instructional achievement aligning with the district's strategic direction.
    • Overseeing key district functions including curriculum development, instructional strategies, assessment practices, and school-based leadership, to ensure high standards of academic performance and growth.
    • Cultivating an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse student needs, promotes equity, and fosters success for all learners.
    • Engaging with families, community partners and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and support for student success.
     

    Education and Experience:

     
    • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, with Program, Principal, or Superintendent certification or credentials.
    • 3-5 years of successful experience as a principal and/or central office administrator.
    Skills and Abilities:
    • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
    • Ability to analyze data effectively and use it to make informed, data-driven decisions.
    • Demonstrated experience in researching, designing, and implementing instructional practices, curriculum development, and professional development.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including staff, families, and community partners.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to foster relationships, build trust, and promote collaboration.
    • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment for all students.
    • Proven experience supervising and leading principals and/or central office administrators.
