This is a full-time Kindergarten Teaching position for the 2024-2025 School Year at McIlvaine Early Childhood Center. McIlvaine is an early childhood center with ~475 students.

Individuals who are eligible or possess Special Education Teacher  or Early Childhood/Elementary certification are encouraged to apply.  Candidates must apply online. Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Special Education Teacher.  Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license. 
 
Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License.  Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License.  The State of Delaware DOE may recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

SALARY:  In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

• Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following:  proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.

Full-time Elementary School Counselor position supporting J.R. McIlvaine Early Childhood Center for the 2024-2025 school year.  ***Please note this position will support students as a School Counselor as well as teaching a few classes throughout the day following the district approved curriculum.  QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who are eligible or possess Elementary Counseling and Elementary Education certification are encouraged to apply.
