  Summary:

The Special Education Paraprofessional – 1:1 will work directly with the designated student to provide behavioral and academic support.

Responsibilities:
• Attend training on seizure management.
• Maintain daily medical documentation.
• Provide behavioral and academic assistance to students, under the direction of the teacher and principal.
• Provide prompting and redirection for engagement in academic tasks and other school activities.
• Develop positive relationships with students and staff.
• Effectively follow class management procedures, as well as individual behavioral plans.
• Assisting with student hygiene needs, as needed.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPI Certification or willingness to be trained on-site
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
School Year
7.5 Hours per day

Compensation:
Level I:  $13.10- $15.35 per hour
