ANNOUNCEMENT OF SERVICE VACANCY
POSITION: Day-to-Day Substitute Custodian/Maintenance
SCHEDULE: Day-to-day on a call out need basis only
QUALIFICATIONS: As per State and County Regulations
- Must be 18 years of age, or older
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
- Must be able and willing to work at all county owned locations
- Must provide transportation to and from work locations
- Must take and pass the State’s written and performance competency test for custodians and for maintenance to be administered by the board of education
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be available to work different schedules that includes early morning, evening and, late night shift hours
- Must be physically and medically capable to perform any and all manual labor tasks
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - This position will frequently require the employee to crawl, sit, stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, grasp, talk, hear, see and use repetitive motions.
- This position may require mowing, weed eating, painting, snow removal, trash removal, pushing dumpsters, etc.
- This position may require lifting/moving heavy materials.
TERM: Day-to-Day as Needed
SALARY: As provided in WV Code §18A-4-8 and §18A-4-8a
