Rate of Pay: Level 1 (per Collective Bargaining Agreement)

Required Skills: High School Diploma

Knowledge and ability to perform job function: Assist in meal preparation including, but not limited to, the use of commercial ovens, slicers, food choppers, and can openers. Assist in the serving of meals, cleaning of all food service areas, assists in handling foods and supplies, stands for long periods of time, and performs such other tasks and responsibilities necessary for the operation of the kitchen. Must be able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds.

Food Service Truck Driver Substitutes:

Work Days/Hours: as needed

Rate of Pay: Level 3 (per Collective Bargaining Agreement)

Required Skills: High School Diploma; valid PA driver’s license with an acceptable moving vehicle record for the previous three years.

Knowledge and ability to perform job function: Transports prepared food and supplies as scheduled; transports the daily cafeteria receipts to the bank; picks up and delivers donated and purchased commodities; assists the Warehouse Manager with loading and delivering materials; maintains a valid PA driver’s license and safe driving record; operates vehicle in a safe manner at all times; must be able to climb a warehouse ladder carrying up to eighty (80) pounds; assists Food Services I employees with the receiving of food and supplies, inventory control, and distribution; assists in filling warehouse orders; operates a forklift and a pallet truck, as needed; performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as from time to time may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
