    Responsibilities: Successful candidates will teach academic content to classroom students through Spanish immersion. As a Spanish Immersion Teacher you must possess native or near native fluency in Spanish; teach elementary grade literature, writing and other core subjects to immersion students; establish individual performance goals; have good student management skills; work with other Immersion team members and administration.
     
    Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold or be eligible to hold a K-12 Spanish License; 5-8 or 5-12 Social Studies license; and a K-6 or 1-6 Elementary Education license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.

    The Winona Middle School serves students in grades 5-8 with diverse opportunities for all learners. Programs include but are not limited to Spanish Language Immersion program in grades 5 and 6, AVID, Honors and Accelerated Learning, inquiry-based instruction, and personalized learning with technology.  

    Salary Range:  Salary scale is listed in attached Master Contract.  
    BA Range: $46,272-$64,878
    MA Range $55,227-$80,075
