WGCSD is a growing district on the northwestern edge of the Greater Des Moines Metropolitan area serving over 1,100 students. Our district includes 97 square miles across Boone, Dallas, and Polk counties. Preschool through fifth grade students attend school in Granger. Middle and high school students attend school in Woodward. The special education consortium school Grandwood is located in Granger.
