SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - 1.0 Weston Middle School (Anticipated)
Qualifications:
Holds or is eligible for the Connecticut endorsement #165
Knowledge of various disabilities and effective strategies to address them
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to the success of students with special needs
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
Reports to: Assistant Director of Pupil Services/Middle School Principal
Terms of Employment: As established by the contract between the Weston Board of Education and the Weston Teachers' Association.
