Position:  Food Service Helper – Full Time (Position Number 2425-3348)                                                     
 (8:15am - 2:15pm / 5 days per week/ 10 months per year)        
 
Location:  Plank Road South Elementary School
   
Start Date:   April 21, 2025
 
Salary:  Hourly wage will be determined at the time of employment and based on minimum starting rate of $15.50

• The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of proper methods of preparing and serving food
• Must be capable of operating kitchen equipment and appliances safely
• You should be able to receive and make correct change
• The ideal candidate must possess the ability to deal effectively with students and faculty
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Prepares ingredients for salads, sandwiches and cold plates
• Serves food from steam table or food line in cafeteria-style operation
• Serve as cashier on student or faculty food service line
• Trims, washes and prepares vegetables

Requirements:  Must have NYS Certification in either Early Childhood Education B-2, Childhood Education 1-6, or Nursery-6

Salary:  As per current Webster Teacher Association (WTA) Contract based on experience and education.
