Effective Date(s):  Program will run from August 6 through August 14, 2018

Work Schedule:  Monday, Tuesday, each week, 6 hours per day

Student Day:  8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Qualifications:  Valid State of Ohio Middle Childhood (4-9), Adolescence to Young Adults (7-12) or High School (7-12) License.

Additional Qualifications:
1. Experience teaching Grade 9.
2. Excellent attendance record.
Description/Duties:
1. Instruct incoming 9th Grade students enrolled in the Freshman Academy program following the designated topic area.
2. Attend a planning session for the program.
3. Keep appropriate records as needed.
4. Assess student as requested.
5. Be responsible for all school equipment and property entrusted to a teacher's charge.
6. Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren Board of Education pertaining to classroom teacher and teaching process.
7. Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by Principal or his/her designee.

• Facilitate manual ticket selling process and the electronic ticket selling process (Home Town Ticketing). Maintain and provide records to the AD and Treasurer.
• Communicate with the opponent athletic director/ ticket manager on securing away game tickets and related services.
• Work collaboratively with the athletic secretary and AD.
• Maintain ledger for all athletic revenue events.
• Create and maintain records for drug testing, physicals and student eligibility.
• Secure game workers and security, as needed, for athletic events.
• Generate payroll forms for game workers.
• Monitor Final Forms to ensure students and parents have completed all forms electronically.
• Assist in the management and coordination of student drug testing.
• Review student grades and credit hours to determine student eligibility.
• Supervises regular season athletic events including playoff events.
• Communicates with coaches on OHSAA guidelines.
• Collaborates with the athletic department on schedules, transportation, awards, and varsity letters.
• Verify and approves student physical education waivers.
• Orders and/or creates certificates, awards and trophies for student recognitions.
• Manage and balance petty cash.
• Collaborates and communicates with the middle school faculty managers.
• Communicate all schedules/schedule changes to game workers, administrators, custodians and trainer.
• Ensure all health and safety precautions are observed during all activities.
• Work up to three weeks over summer for pre-planning of upcoming season.
• Promote games on social media (Twitter, wghathletics.org website) etc.
• Adhere to other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, or designee.
• Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren Board of Education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, Superintendent/CEO, Chief Academic Officer and/or his/her designee.
